Facebook Costs Employers Millions
Workers who spend too much time on the social networking websites such as Facebook are costing firms over £130m a day, a new report claims.
Row simmering over Facebook use Employment law firm Peninsula estimates that 233 million hours are lost every month by employees "wasting time" on the internet. "Why should employers allow their workers to waste two hours a day on Facebook when they are being paid to do a job?", Mike Huss of Peninsula said. "The figures that we have calculated are minimums and it's a problem that I foresee will escalate.
